      1.      

 UP overall crime figure-

     Dafadar and Mahalladargan of UP and Ansar VDP party leader Janan said that various incidents are taking place in different parts of the country due to political reasons.

Satisfaction was expressed at the meeting as the law and order situation in UP is normal. And the cooperation of all concerned is sought to continue this trend.

Drug control-

      Members present at the meeting said that law and order is deteriorating in different parts of the country as the youth are being harmed by consuming phencidyl, cannabis and other narcotics. No such activity was seen in UP. However, it is discussed to be aware of this.

     

1. The meeting decided to hold anti-drug rallies and campaigns in each ward.

      2. The village police of UP were instructed to intensify the anti-drug drive.

In the context of ebteasing: -

     This issue was discussed in detail in the meeting. Mr. President informed the meeting that all UP members, heads of all educational institutions are requested to keep a watchful eye.

The decision was taken to inform the UP chairman if such an incident took place anywhere in UP.

4.       

Militancy / Terrorism-

      Militancy and terrorism were discussed in detail at the meeting.

 It was decided to raise public awareness and inform the public about its evils. The meeting decided to take awareness activities in this regard in various government institutions.

     5.       

Prevention of child marriage: -

     Mr. Saheb informed the meeting that since UP members and village policemen have a responsibility to prevent child marriage, it is essential that UP members, Kazi Saheb and village policemen be present at the monthly law and order meeting.

At the monthly meeting of the Law and Order Committee on the issue, it was decided to keep a watchful eye on the UP members, qazis, imams and village policemen.
